Las Teresitas beach view from San Andres village. Although traditionally a fishing village, tourism was also introduced in San Andres since the amelioration in the infrastructure of Las Teresitas. Originally a dark volcanic beach, four million bags of sand were brought from Sahara to give this beach the golden appearance it now has.
