Los Cristianos port combines small fishing boats, larger cruisers and several yachts. It is from Los Cristianos port that the ferry and hydrofoil depart daily to the islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. During the day it is easy to spot one of these ferries in the port.

It has two beaches and a pleasant promenade along their edge, lots of nice touristic cafes, restaurants and bars with a lot to choose from along pedestrian streets leading up to the town’s square.

Chayofa is a quiet resort close to Los Cristianos, although it is far from the coast. Chayofa is a quiet resort on a hill overlooking Los Cristianos. There are few bars, restaurants and shops in Chayofa, however it is also home to one of the best restaurants on Tenerife and in fact the Canary Islands: The La Estancia restaurant.
