What we call here ‘Tenerife North’ is not exactly the geographic part of the island. Due to the diagonal mountains that splits Tenerife in two halves, the clouds usually don’t go through from the North to the South, providing to very different micro climates. Tenerife North refers then to the cloudy part, where temperatures are much lower.
