El Medano is a picturesque and original village of fishers in the south of Tenerife. It is probably the best surf resort in Tenerife that is why is often called the surfers paradise. There are also a few bars, restaurants and surf shops at the beach front.

Puerto Colon marina and beach resort is one of the best in Tenerife South. The coastal path runs through Puerto Colon providing a spectacular walking in both directions. There are also plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants, and ice cream stalls. The harbour is definitely a nice walk if you are in Las Américas.
